Rights & Obligations of Mind the cat
1.1
Mind the Cat agrees to provide the agreed-upon services as outlined in the order confirmation, considering your preferences for your cat(s) care.
1.2
Mind the Cat is dedicated to ensuring the optimal nutrition, welfare, and care of your cat(s) during the agreed-upon period, as specified in the order confirmation.
1.3
While Mind the Cat takes every precaution to prevent infestations and ensures the safety of your cat(s), it is not liable for fleas and/or worms. Additionally, any damage resulting from inaccurate client-provided information is not the responsibility of Mind the Cat.
Your Rights & Obligations
2.1
Please provide complete information about your cat(s) during the Meet and Greet and introductory conversation to ensure they receive optimal care throughout the agreed caretaking period. Additionally, ensure an ample supply of food, supplies, and medications for the duration.
2.2
Keep Mind the Cat informed of any interim changes via WhatsApp to facilitate smooth coordination. Test provided keys on locks before handing them over and leave a spare key with the designated contact person as outlined in the Meet and Greet form.
2.3
Ensure your cat(s) are flea-free, dewormed, and vaccinated to prevent any infectious risks. You are responsible for your cat(s) at all times, including during the caretaking period. If medical care is needed, Mind the Cat will consult with you, and associated costs, including transportation, are your responsibility.
Liability and Disputes
3.1
Mind the Cat's liability is defined within this article. Liability insurance with Centraal Beheer covers Mind the Cat.
3.2
Mind the Cat acknowledges liability solely for direct damage. Indirect or consequential damage is not acknowledged unless there is proven intent and/or gross negligence.
3.3
You are legally responsible for any material or immaterial damage caused by your pets to Mind the Cat or others. The same applies to damage to Mind the Cat's or others' belongings. In case of a dispute, both parties are expected to seek an amicable resolution without legal intervention.
3.4
If you booked my services, and another person (third party) comes in on the same day(s) that I visit your place, I cannot be held responsible for any damage or liability and I must be informed in advance about it.

Order Confirmation, Payment and Cancelation policy
The agreements regarding the caretaking period will be documented in an order confirmation/invoice, which will be sent to you upon the day of your arrival.
All prices include VAT. (btw)
You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the start date of the caretaking period.
If you cancel 6 days in advance or less, Mind the Cat will charge 30% administrative costs.
There is no refund if you unexpectedly return during the caretaking period or if the booking is cancelled within 24 horse before the initial start of it.
You are required to pay Mind the Cat's invoice within a week of the invoice’s date.
Late Booking Request Policy (4-Day / €30 Flat Fee)
I require a minimum of four (4) days' notice for all service requests to guarantee availability and ensure proper preparation.
A service request is considered a Late Booking Request if it is submitted: Less than four (4) days before the agreed-upon start date of the first scheduled visit.
If I have availability and choose to accept a Late Booking Request, an additional, non-refundable Late Booking Surcharge will apply:
* Cost: The flat cost for accepting a Late Booking Request is €30.
* Application: This €30 surcharge is added once to the total cost of the booking, regardless of the number of visits.
* Acceptance Disclaimer: Acceptance of a Late Booking Request is not guaranteed and is strictly subject to my immediate schedule availability. I reserve the right to decline any request that conflicts with existing commitments.
New clients submitting a Late Booking Request must be highly flexible for the mandatory Meet & Greet appointment and key exchange. If the necessary preparation steps cannot be completed before the service starts, the request will be declined.
